Most seats are downstairs. The restaurant manages to look eclectic & cozy rather than cramped, despite quite a few tables being crammed in a small space!

Good classic choices: steack, boeuf bourguignon, cassoulet, poulet au citron etc...
Dishes of the day as well (poulet basquaise the day we visited).
Wine list is reasonably priced for London with most wine available by the glass, 500ml pichet or bottle.

Excellent service by jolly waiters and waitresses. Very attentive but not in you face.

Only criticism: they make you pay for the bread, a real French restaurant always gives you a little basket of sliced baguette for free!

Favorite Dish: We chose the pre-theatre menu available 4-7pm: Onglet with either béarnaise or pepper sauce, frites and a lemon tart (other dessert choice was ice cream).
The meat was cooked well and the portion quite generous. Tart was lovely & soft with the right balance of sharpness.
