Musée Cernuschi is a hidden gem, tucked away next to a side entrance to Parc Monceau. Since I love the Guimet, which is part of the national museum system, I thought I would try the City of Paris Musée Cernuschi for a change. It was in a lovely historic townhouse. The collection is not large, but it's a nice sampling of Asian arts. There are special exhibitions from time to time, and you can look out over the park while enjoying the exhibits.

Directions: Turn off of Blvd Malesherbes onto ave. Vélasquez and walk towards the park entrance. It will be on your left. Metro : line 2 or 3 - stop Monceau or Villiers
