Island Girl Philippines (Sandals and Accessories): "Accessorize like a true island girl" Boracay Island Shopping Tip by deardre

Boracay Island Shopping: 83 reviews and 137 photos

If you died and went to fashion heaven, that heaven would look a lot like Island Girl -- the store is just right on the beach, after all, with a plethora of different resortwear accessories, sandals, and styles to help you look the part.

Island Girl doesn't sell your typical handicraft accessories with the same style from twenty years ago. The products are colorful and on-trend -- they even have necklaces and bracelets in oh-so-fashionable fluo colors. They sell resortwear but with a twist -- made from eco-friendly materials and in pocket-friendly prices, too.

Another great thing about Island Girl is that not only are their products made from either sustainable or recycled materials, they practice social responsibility by subcontracting underprivileged women to make these accessories, providing them the ability to earn extra income.

What to pay: 500-1500

Address: D'Mall (Island Girl / A Piece of Green)
Theme: Local Craft
