Favorite Dish: There's a few... I had a dish (can't remember the name) that was a fish fillet covered in pesto and fresh tomatoes that was incredible. Another one in the group had spaghetti made with a tomato sauce and fresh anchovies - really excellent. And the last person had a pasta dish with pesto and fresh tomatoes that was lovely. The other two people I was with also had espresso to finish up the meal, and said it was the best the entire trip - like dark chocolate poured into a little cup. :) I can't stress enough that while you're in this area of the country, you really ought to try what's local - the pesto is outstanding (buy a little jar in a local shop to take home!) and the anchovies are really not what you'd expect. They're not the salty little things we're used to in the US - they're fresh, and quite tasty. Give them a try!
