We took the bus out to Carrumbin and more or less spent the entire day there.
There are the standard Aussie animal staples such as koalas, crocodiles and kangaroos, and we were also able to view an Aboriginal show.
The lorikeet feeding is a keenly awaited attraction as well.
At $49 it is slightly overpriced I feel, but that is the Gold Coast for you. What I did like was that there were a lot of volunteers in the park, all of them very keen to share their passion for Australia's native animals.
