"Kampong Glam: North Bridge Road" Singapore Things to Do Tip by cal6060

One of my favorite parts of Kampong Glam is the North Bridge Road. North Bridge Road is linking with South Bridge Road and cutting through the City Hall, or the Civil District. South Bridge Road is consider part of the Chinatown Heritage district.

You can find beautiful old restored shop houses on this street, specially the roll of shop houses painted red with yellow french windows. Those shop houses are mostly shop fronts or offices for wholesale Suppliers. On the other side of the road, you could find mostly Malays or Muslim restaurants serving authentic foods from Indonesia, Arab, or Southern Thai Islamic foods.

You could see another angle of Sultan Mosque from North Bridge Road.
