part two of my tips with more pictures of the huge restaurant

this is the biggest chinese sea food restaurant in the Reclamation Area of Pasay City and is near the Mall of Asia Complex. They have a huge dining area in the first floor and several private rooms for parties and a large banquet hall in the second floor. It is very popular from the local Chinese-Filipino Community and local filipinos with big wallets. The restaurant specialize in Fresh Chinese Cantonese Style Sea Food Dishes and they have large aquarium tanks filled with assorted live fish and sea food like spiny lobsters, rock lobsters, groupers, eels, tiger prawns, scallops, mud crabs, rock fish and more where you can choose your sea food and they will cook them cantonese style. they also have selections of meat, noodles, soups, dumplings and vegetable dishes but their showcase are the live seafood which costs are astronomical.

History

Golden Bay Fresh Seafood Restaurant is the brainchild of a group of friends who wanted to showcase the Chinese culture, tradition and cuisine. During their weekly tea gatherings, they would discuss how much they missed the sumptuous dishes which they enjoyed back home. In late 2006, their talks led the group to come up with a concept for a grand restaurant that would showcase traditional and modern Chinese cuisine. In the beginning, their plan was to establish a typical Chinese restaurant that was comparable to other restaurants in the country. However, encouraged by the strong outlook of the tourism industry in the country, they decided to build a grander and more exquisite restaurant which would offer a dining experience that is unparalleled on this side of the world. They also wanted this convenient and satisfying dining destination to be big enough for a multitude of people to converge in and share fond memories.

Favorite Dish: they have an extensive collection of fresh sea food dishes which you can order ala carte or via set meals, chinese lauriat style. prices of the set meals varies from 5,000 pesos for a group of 6 persons to 25,000 pesos, depending on the rarity of sea food you order.

a one kilo of fresh spiny lobster will set you back for 3,600 pesos, fresh tiger prawns at 1,500 pesos an order. Dumplings like siomai or shrimp dumplings at 100 pesos an order, noodles at 400 pesos an order. fresh Abalone at 4,500 pesos a kilo (cooking included).

soups starts at 300 pesos an order and fried rice at 300 pesos an order.
