Everything in Béziers is within walking distance, but bear in mind that most of the city is built on a slope. So after a period of hiking we definitely could use a refreshment. We ended up right at the city center at the beautiful Allée Paul Riquet. Right there we had a look around and kind of fell in love with the rocking chairs.

Because it is located at such a prominent spot it is always a bit of a mixed feeling to sit down, as you simply don't know what kind of price level you're talking about. We found out that the card is very nice. We saw some Langeudoc specialties like Cargolade (Catalan style of escargot) and Trinxat (Catalan cabbage and potatoes). Given the triple A location the price level is okay. Besides that the staff and service was impeccable, definitely in a very good mood.

Favorite Dish: We had the Bourride (white fish stewed with vegetables and wine, garnished with aïoli), it was great!
