This huge house, dating from the 1500s, has now been restored and made into private apartments and (I think) partly a daycare/social centre for local residents, with buildings grouped around its original central courtyard.

I haven't been able to find out any more detail about its history, but did spot a few interesting architectural remnants: the column capitals in the courtyard, the large bricked 'windows' (now with modern windows behind them but I wonder if they originally had no glass? Or perhaps they are just architectural frills created by the modern architects who created the modern version of this ancient building).

And the rather lovely arched window which someone is now lucky enough to have as their balcony.

Address: Via Duca d'Aosta 17
