"GREAT LOCATION IN THE CITY CENTER" Arli Hotel Tip by LoriPori

We stayed at the ARLI HOTELfor 7 nights. When we were researching what hotel to stay at while attending the EURMEET 2012, location near the train station was important. It is also an excellent location for transportation, restaurants and shops. And also Kate (Goodfish) and Jerry were staying there. The Arli offers an excellent breakfast buffet (included in the price). It sure was nice to have breakfast with many familiar VT faces.
Our room had a double bed, TV with cable, air-conditioning, a desk, safety deposit box (no charge), mini-bar, (stocked with items for a small fee), plenty of closet space and bathroom with hair dryer and a selection of toiletries.
Lobby Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke very good English. Also in the Lobby Area is the Computer room with free wi-fi. There are stairs or you can use the elevator.
We booked the Arli through Expedia and it was a package deal along with flight.
A Hotel City Tax was charged. I paid 2,50 Euros per person per night and as we stayed for 7 nights, the charge was 35 Euros, which I paid in cash.

Unique Qualities: As I mentioned, the Arli had an excellent breakfast buffet (located to the right of the Lobby in the "La Delizia Ristorante", which included:
Beverages: espresso or American Coffee, tea, orange, grapefruit or peach juice.
Breads: croissants, rolls, and sliced breads (also available - chocolate spread, jams and butter)
Meats & Cheeses: typical Italian cheeses, and meats included ham, salami & prosciutto.
Cereal and Fruits: Bowl of fruits including kiwi, apples, pears and bananas. Cereal was a muslix. Prunes and boiled eggs. All in all, excellent.

Directions: From Train Station, walk toward Cita Alta. Continue on Papa Giovanni about three blocks. When you come to the Best Western, on the left side of the street, make an immediate left, which is Largo Porta Nuova. The ARLI is just a few meters, on your left.
