Favorite thing: go shopping!! I spent my time mostly at the shops! There were loads of shopping centres at Playa del Ingles in Gran Canaria, the best being the 'Yumbo' or 'Jumbo' centre. There were so many shops selling all types of things imaginable at amazingly low prices. The only thing I didn't like was the way the asian men stood outside the electrical shops trying to get you to go in. One time when my mum and I were walking past, a shopkeeper spied the video camera round my mum's neck and practically dragged her into the shop with it, and then proceeded to show us accessories we could buy for it. It's not a nice experience being in a shop not wanting to buy anything when someone's trying so desperately to make you. Shopkeepers of electrical stores seemed the worst but in any shop, you were 'leaped' on if you even looked at anything for longer than 2 minutes. However, it was good being able to buy things so cheap especially alcohol and perfume which were duty-free.
