"Larchmont Village. If the..." Parks Tip by Tricky_Josie

Parks, Hollywood: 3 reviews and 5 photos

Larchmont Village.
If the grime of Hollywood starts getting to you and you need to refuel, this is a nice place to stop for lunch or dinner. It's in the heart of Hancock Park where visitors like to check out the impressive mansionettes along Rossmore and neighboring streets. Larchmont is an oasis of sorts- charmingly out of sorts w/its surroundings, more relaxed, subdued yet charming. It's right across from Paramount Studios so you'll often spot a celebrity lunching there. You've got you're pick of the usual dependable fare (Louise's Trattoria, Noah's Bagels,Koo Koo Roo etc) but you'll also find Cafe du Village w/really great french food, a swell little patio out back and best of all- no corkage fee when you bring your own wine (so far they've got no liquor license). Village Pizza is also dependable, Chan Darae rocks for Thai . Another plus: a great view of the Hollywood Sign.
