"An architectural masterpiece" Petronas Twin Towers Tip by swissfondue
Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur: 270 reviews and 477 photos
No visit to KL would be complete without experiencing the jewel in the city's crown -
THE PETRONAS TWIN TOWERS.
This architecturally outstanding building is probably KL's most visited tourist attraction and advance booking is required to enjoy the city views from its skybridge and observation decks. There is an entry charge. Although the skybridge is located in the mid section of the towers it is certainly a fun experience to walk between them and see KL spread out beneath you.
Tickets are issued on a "first come, first served basis" and can be obtained from the Ticket office on the Concourse level. Only a certain amount of tickets are allocated each hour as there are restrictions on the number of people allowed on the Skybridge at any given time. Time limits apply but there is plenty of time to admire the views and take photos.
TIP: If possible visit earlier in the day as tickets may not be available later in the afternoon.
NOTE: The Skybridge and observation decks are closed on MONDAY and between 1pm and 2.30pm on FRIDAY for Prayer.
There is also an upmarket shopping centre at the base of the complex: Suria KLCC.
Address: Petronas Twin Towers KL City Centre.
Directions: Although I dont really recommend taxis as a way of getting around KL due to the traffic congestion, they are the best way to get to Petronas Towers from the train or monorail station.
