There is an excellent shopping-mall in the pedestrian zone of Wollongong and you will find all shops there that you might need when travelling through Australia as a tourist.
What I found quite strange in the big electronical shops there is the fact, that I was able to "haggle".
I bought an adapter for loading my european batteries by the car-battery and the original price for that device was 120 AUS, but I said, no, thats too much for these only 14 days of travel in Australia !
But then the man made me an offer of buying that same item for just 80 AUS and I agreed !

What to buy: You will get almost anything there !

What to pay: Prices will be the same as in other parts of NSW.
