The parish church of St. Elizabeth stands next door to the Chapel in the old town.
The Church was consecrated in 1251 to St. Elizabeth, was orignally Romanesque, then made into gothic in 1400. St. Joseph's Chapel and the Cross Chapel were added on the south side in Baroque.
In the church there are many nice baroque Altars, and a painting of St. Elizabeth. The pulpit, which has extremely luxurious figural ornamentation, was done in 1763. You will also find gothic tombstones that are built into the inner walls of the nave.
