Queenies Traditional Teahouse: "The tingle of the bell" Brisbane Restaurant Tip by wise23girl

As you walk in the door of this fabulous teahouse you will delight in the tinkle of the little bell on the door...and you will be more delighted by the decor, the atmosphere...the almost old world charm of Queenies.

The food is cooked with love and the best ingredients...no fast food here. There are gluten free options which is a bonus for many. The mince on toast is from her mother in laws old recipe and I think it is a secret.

For anyone local you might be interested in a bridal shower, a birthday celebration...just give them a call..

Queenies teas are well loved and available on line. The gift shop has items relating to the drinking of tea.

Favorite Dish: Well it is the mince on toast which David enjoys as well but he follows his mince on toast with a sticky date pudding.

The high tea is magnificent and today we saw a party enjoying just that...but not for this "nothing sweet about me" person writing this review.

Price depends on what you choose...but you are served quality.

This gorgeous little place is in the suburbs but there would be a bus ....and Nundah railway station is close by.
