Currently Zurich's newest high rise building is 126 meters high and on the 35th floor you will find the Clouds.

The Clouds consists of a restaurant (reservation needed), a bistro-bar and a lounge. The other day I visited the bistro-bar with a couple of friends.

The entrance to the "Clouds" floor is behind the Prime Tower building. On the first floor (staircase or lift) you will find the free of charge cloakroom (Garderobe). If you have a restaurant booking you need to check in immediately at the reception desk here as they will check your booking and then you can jump the line for the elevator. If you want to visit the Bistro-Bar or the Lounge which is actually a smaller bar with a few lounge seats with a view down the Limmattal, you will have to line up depending on the time of the day. We started lining up at around 6.30 pm and I think we waited at least half an hour on a Wednesday. When it's full they only let as many people up as come down. The 3 venues are non-smoking but there is a separate fumoir.

Once you arrive at the Clouds level on the 35th floor, you will be pointed to the appropriate venue. We managed to get a small table in the second row. Since it was dark, it was a bit hard to enjoy the view. Service was very friendly and helpful. We went for drinks and a meal.

The Clouds is open every day from 7.30 till 0.30 during the week and from 9.00 at weekends. It states on the menu what you can order until when. No dogs allowed.

I really liked it there and would definitely revisit the Bistro-Bar.

In the evening there is a dress code: casual chic is required and you must be over 25

PS: Please note, you are not allowed to take pictures of people. This according to reception as I overheard someone asking. And it goes without saying that it is totally out of place to use the flash.

Favorite Dish: I opted for a Clouds burger made of Angus beef. It was yummy and came at CHF 26.00. Soft drinks are CHF 5.50, juices at CHF 6.50. There is a huge choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. My two friends opted for a small Tartar which they were very happy with.
