  Pizza by the Slice
by TravellerMel

A cheap lunch in NYC would be to pop into any of the little pizza joints who sell pizza by the slice. There will be a large counter with all the different pizza's for sale, and a handful of tables - it's not a "restaurant", per se. We paid $3.25 per slice, and as you can see from the photo, once slice is enough.

I was told the "New York" way to eat it is to fold it in half and eat up from the skinny end. Except for the folding part, that is how I eat pizza anyway, although, I have seen folks eating pizza with a fork and knife. They must not be from New York! LOL!
