I’ve been to Landry’s three times now, for three consecutive Thanksgiving meals. The first two times were EXTREMELY pleasing and the thought of it makes me wish it were November already. (Note: The Thanksgiving of 2011 left a bit to be desired but 2 out of 3 ain’t bad.) The seafood is amazing: especially the salmon and tilapia. The waiters and waitresses are dressed nicely in white button down shirts with black ties, and prices are higher than you would normally pay. Needless to say, we don’t come here with big parties or every day use. But it’s nice every now and then to pay/eat above normal seafood.
*If you find yourself in Houston (or The Woodlands) next Thanksgiving you may want to try their Traditional buffet for a pre fix $30 or something like that. But the food is AMAZING with traditional fixings and THEN a whole other section of seafood. The wine list is also nice, and all drinks I’ve ordered there have come out very nice. Make sure you make reservations, though! It can be up to a 2 hour waiting line…
On a beautiful day they have an outdoor seating area that has a beautiful view of the manmade lake that surrounds most of The Woodlands.
