The majority of café-bars and Restaurants in Chalkida and not only, allow smoking even in the buildings. In the past smoking was only allowed at the outdoor space during the summer. This is frustrating but at the same time what created this is the economic crisis which makes the owners allowing this to happen because already the customers are very few. The bills from electricity and rent keep coming in each month, and the working staff needs to be paid.
People who cannot stand smoking might not enjoy it, but this is a fact and people should know what to expect!
