Canadian Museum of Civilization
Probably one of the best museums I've seen that focuses on the entire history of a country. They have done a great job with bringing the history of Canada to life - I especially enjoyed The Canada Hall. This is one of the largest museums in the world and the collection of totem poles in The Grand Hall is impressive. Overall, the architecture is outstanding. There is also a combination IMAX and OMNIMAX Theater associated with the museum. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to enjoy this museum.

Directions: The Canadian Museum of Civilization (CMC) is located in Hull, Quebec, on the banks of the Ottawa River, directly opposite Parliament Hill. It is easily accessible from downtown Ottawa by foot, bus, or
