Next to the rock garden is the Zwernitz Castle. The original was built in 1200, and in 1339 the Hohenzollern family got possession. It added buildings over 200 years, and today it has a nice museum, besides showing the inside and culture of the castle.

Entry fee is 3 Euro, and it is open 9-5PM Tuesday-Sunday but close over winter months. A tour may take 3/4 hour to see the museum pieces and castle
