This garden park has a large palace on the grounds and it has an art museum in side. The main feature, though is the expansive and varied grounds with trimmed shrubs, green grass and pools of water/fountains. The residence was the summer home last for Sophie, who was the only heir to Fredrich and Wilhelmine, and she lived here 1763-1780. Later in the century it again became a summer place for other rulers and in 1929 was purchased by a private owner.
It is open 10-4PM Tuesday-Sunday, and during April-September only. Entry fee to the residence is 3 Euro

Directions: Located 4 miles west of the town on Erlanger Strasse -or Hwy 22 in the suburb of Donndorf
