Aldi: "Yay - my first Australian Aldi!!!" Albury Shopping Tip by ettiewyn

I had heard that there really were Aldi stores in Australia, but I had never ever seen one. For those who don't know Aldi: It's a German chain that offers a wide range of drink, food and other things, it is very cheap, but still with quite a good quality (yes, this is debatable, but it's the opinion of many, many people, so let's not be snobbish!).
When German people first hear that Aldi made it to Australia, they of course think that this is very funny - so I was happy when after having spent ten months in Australia in total, I finally found an Aldi store in Albury! And it was even funnier when I saw that they had imported the whole German supermarket system to Australia, which is quite different compared to how supermarkets work down under.
It was really crazy - the whole interior and everything just looked like in Germany, the sounds and smells were the same, and even a lot of the goods on offer, although there were of course some differences.
I bought a lot of things, just to have a change from the usual Coles/Woolworth things, and I am still smiling about this experience :-)
