Lee and I were so full from a good supper at Stronghill that we were both in peril of falling asleep (not good 10 miles, 16 km. from home). So, we stopped at this coffee shop near the Virginia Commonwealth University campus. I like the neighbourhood this coffee shop is in and the decor and design on the outside was extremely inviting. It is more than just a coffee shop. There is an extensive menu of edibles for all times of day. It had that inviting vibe inside. My one problem with it is that it promotes a specific political agenda. On a bulletin board inside, there were postings from an anarchist group to hitch onto the so-called Occupy Richmond protesters in late 2011...scary stuff. It's one thing to have a certain aura like many coffee houses do, but people of all points of view enjoy a good cup of coffee. They really need to be mindful of the risk of alienating customers.

Favorite Dish: There were all sorts of blends of coffee. I had a cup of a Peruvian blend.
