There are hundreds of taxis that traverse the area from the cruise ship docks to Vegueta. We took them and they were fairly reasonable in price, with 5 Euro to take between the Santa Catalina park and Vegueta are; about 3-4 miles distance. It does take around 15 minutes due to traffic being crammed
