"Fantastic Boutique Style B&B in Historic Quarter" Maison Giulia Tip by bpwarne

We stayed at this Hotel for three nights in early November, 2011. I can not say enough good things about this hotel, the owners/staff and the location. Our room was located in the back on the ground floor, rather small by American standards but quite normal by European I am told. It was clean, nicely furnished with a small flat screen TV, in room safe and modern bathroom w/bidet and towel warmer. A breakfast buffet was included and was quite varied but had no hot entrees. Cappuccinos and other espresso drinks were made to order and include free of charge (not great by Rome standards but certainly good, better than usually found in the USA. . Breakfast room is downstairs, rather small but nicely decorated. In room WiFi is complimentary and they even supplied us with a netbook for our personal use the entire stay, a very nice touch. While there was no street noise whatsoever, the interior walls are thin. Staff was extremely amicable and helpful, demonstrating a keen desire to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable, not only at their hotel but in Rome in general. Maps, detailed directions, dining recommendations, all offered cheerfully.
