"Coffee shops, cafés, internet..." Amsterdam Nightlife Tip by scasoni

Amsterdam Nightlife: 532 reviews and 480 photos

Coffee shops, cafés, internet cafés, restaurants, clubs, XXX clubs, roaming.
Laid back
Cold and humid
Very romantic for any age
Fantastic museums (Nice collections)
Great Beer (many different kinds from holland and other great places)
Great italian food (Unfortuntely spent 3 nights and ate at three fabulous italian restaurants... too good to try new food!!)

Dress Code: Layers. This is soooo true.
I would even suggest that you wear a 'cobine' which is the clothes you wear underneath sport clothes when you go skiing or late-time canadian golfing. If you are not used to humid weather, you can get cold even if you have a parka on ! Wear a nice winter sweater with a spring leather or other warm jackets. That is, if you're visiting around November.
Jeans is the best item I wore, confort and style.
I would of liked to have brought day or running shoes for the day and my regular leather shoes at night only !! The streets are bricked and very hard for your feet if you do alot of day visiting.

Directions: Red light.
Did not have time to visit other nice cities and places in the Netherlands.

othercontact: The Channels on the Web has all
Theme: Live Music
