Favorite thing: There are lots of opinions regarding where the best views are to be found in Istanbul. There are lots of rooftops of guesthouses, hotels, as well as restaurants and bars that let you look out over the city. There are the grand views from the Galata Bridge, the Pierre Loti Café and the Galata Tower. Many think that the view from the water ? Bosphorus or Maiden Tower ? rank in first place or the vast view from Camlica Hill on the Asian side. For me it was from atop the old Theodosian walls at the Edirinekapı, but who is to say the others are wrong?
