This place serves buffet brekky which is a bit different from what i have seen in many hotels and cruise ships I've tried. The food is not so over the top that you get overwhelmed with choices. But then the food are nourishing enough, with soup, rice and/or pasta dishes with choices of seafood/fish, meat like chicken, pork and beef and even lamb with a variety of cuisines and style of cooking catered for- Filipino of course, continental and western style with pancakes, made to order egg dishes, Indian style basmati rice, and many more. The ingredients are freshly sourced and their baked goods are soem of the best I'ved tasted especially their pandan flavoured coconut and ube muffins and the chocolate and walnut cupcakes which are good also not just as dessert but for snacks.

Favorite Dish: I love the soups and the muffins! The dishes are okay but the baked goods stand out. The many hotels and cruise ships I've been to (cruises to times so far) have very different styles and great variety but Bistro del Cielo's homely and cosy ambience probably make the difference! At the buffet brekky though it will really be nice to vary the soup menus- like serving healthy minestrone, asparagus, pumpkin, and other healthy soups not just mushroom soup (I had this a few times in the brekky buffet in three separate occasions).

The menus are also satisfactory in my opinion but they can do with seasonal changes and probably can add other cuisines like Korean or Japanese cuisines which I missed terribly in my trip. I love ramen and soba noodles and would have wanted some noodle soup dishes in the menu and more salad dishes for the health conscious -fresh garden salad, plain potato or even caesar or nicoise salad, etc.

I wish to thank the staff headed by Des Manalo the Food and Beverage Manager of Parque Espana and also the wait staff at Bistro del Cielo- Eric and Josh especially and the chefs and other workers there for a job well done! You are the reason why the hotel is a success! Keep up the good work!
