Esglesia de Sant Agusti Nou, Barcelona: 1 reviews and 5 photos
In the Ravel district of Barcelona, adjacent to the LaBoqueria Market, the entrance area to Sant Agusti is on a small square and so simple that you might miss it. It was originally part of or attached to a monastery that no longer exists.
We did find out one iteresting fact, "on Sundays, mass is said in both Catalan and Spanish, except for mass at 6pm, which is celebrated for the Philippine community and is said in Tagalog and Spanish. The rest are celebrated in Catalan."
So if you are from the Philippines and in Barcelona on Sunday....
The most striking thing for me was the statue of a religious figure on a donkey and the feathers coming out of his head, have never seen something like this before.
