Eklecticafé: "Caffeine At The Cottage" Top 5 Page for this destination Eklecticafé Tip by goodfish

Eklecticafé, Moab: 1 reviews and 3 photos

2011 and 2014:

A funky little bungalow almost smothered in a wild and wonderful jungle of shrubs, flowers and vines, Eklecticafe is a former hippie's dream. We stopped into for lattes, scones and a read of the paper one rainy morning in 2011 and a dry one in 2014, and lingered for a loooong time amid a cheerful clutter of color and curios. No slick, cookie-cutter chain, no sir; the menu is on chalkboard, and breakfast comes out of a tiny, busy kitchen at its own leisurely speed. It's comforting, good-for-you stuff too: maple nut granola with fruit, tofu burritos, whole wheat pancakes, huervos rancheros, egg and cheese bagels...

There's a big shaded porch for al fresco sipping on a nice day, and they're open for lunch, too. Our organic coffees and scones were yummy and, judging from the friendly chat between counter staff and stop-ins, this is a favorite with the locals. Open 7 days a week from 7:00 - 2:30 Mon - Sunday but hours may change during winter so check the website.

Haha, I am almost sure this was also on the playlist of my in-laws, but I phased out early last night and didn't hear it :-)
