"By metro." Valencia Transportation Tip by Maurizioago

Valencia Transportation: 90 reviews and 88 photos

The metro in Valencia has five lines; including two tram lines (tranvia). Unfortunately there aren' t any metro stations in the old city core. So if you are going there you have better go out at Colon metro stop; then walk for around 15 minutes to Plaza de la Reina. This is one of the main square in the city center.

A single ticket costs 1.40 euros (2011 price). You can save lots of money buying a Bonometro. This is a rechargeable ticket that includes 10 journey. It can be used by several people.

You can go from the airport to the city center by metro. You have to check lines 3 and 5.

Note; you must keep your ticket until you reach your final destination; otherwise you will not be able to get out of the metro station.
