Haji Nurdin of the Tourist Office brought us here at the right time of day: shortly before sundown. It is a favourite spot to enjoy the breeze after a hot day, and view the sun going down beyond Bima and Bima bay. A modest warung selling refreshments is available.

Dana Taraha cemetery is located on a hill overlooking Bima the west. Royal tombs that can be found here are those of:
- the first sultan, Abdul Kadir I (converted to Islam AD 1640),
- the second sultan, Abdul Khair Sirajuddin (reigned AD 1640-1682),
- the third sultan, Nuruddin (reigned AD 1682-1687),
- the fifteenth and last sultan, Abdul Kadir II (lived AD 1925-2001).
Other members of the dynasty have been buried elsewhere.

Directions: At walking distance (1 km uphill) from the Bus Terminal south of town.
