The main attraction of Mosta is the immense Mosta Rotunda, which has the 4th largest dome in Europe. We overheard someone on the bus say that there was nothing to see in Mosta other than the Rotunda. Mrs Flying .Scotsman and I think it is a lovely town, a good place to see locals go about their business especially on Mondays (market day). In the back streets there are lots of interesting buildings as you can see from the photographs.

During the war a shell fell through the dome and landed unexploded on the church floor. A replica of the shell is on display in the church.
