You’ll find most of Pagudpud’s beach resorts in Saud Beach. With its long stretch of white sand beaches bordering the beautiful heart-shaped Saud Bay, it has become a favorite site for shooting local movies, prenuptial pictorials and family vacation. Though the sand is not as white and fine as that of the Blue Lagoon, Saud Beach is enchantingly beautiful. The sand there is beige/cream when wet by the tide, and becomes white when dried by the sun. The water at Saud Beach is impressively clean. I observed the vigilance of the resorts’ staff in maintaining cleanliness at the beach. I didn’t see trash or pollutants, at least in the vicinity of the resort where we stayed.

At Saud Beach, you can swim or stroll or just laze on a hammock under the coconut trees and feast your eyes on the aquamarine sea with the beautiful landscape of verdant mountains and the Bangui windmills as background. You can go resort-hopping; eat meals at different resorts and check their facilities. You can frolic or relax at the beach without being pestered by souvenir vendors tailing you.
