One of the best views of the Maltese countryside is from the terrace of the Fontanella Cafe. The coffee is good and I'm sure some of the sweets and cakes are good, but we found the Black Forest gateau overly sweet and a bit artificial tastng. The atmosphere is lovely and combines indoor and outdoor seating . We didn't try any of the meals. This place is well worth a visit, just choose your dessert carefully.
