It may be the smallest tri-bastion fort in the country but it is also the oldest. Fort San Pedro is located near Plaza Independencia in Cebu City. There's a lot of history behind it from the time it was deemed finished in 1738, almost 200 years since construction was started in 1565. It has since become an American barracks, a school, an army camp and even a zoo. The fort is now being preserved as a museum by the Philippine Tourism Authority.
