Seventeen-Arch Bridge is located east of Kunming Lake. It is the only bridge that connects to the South Lake Island. It was built during the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1711-1799). It is the largest bridge in Summer Palace length 150 meters, and width 8 meters. It has 544 distinctive lions on the columns of the white parapets.

This bridge has made the beauty landscape of Kunming Lake, and Summer Palace.
