The only English-language paper you may find...

Favorite thing: In local areas of Japan, it may be difficult to get English Language paper on the station stand. The Japan Times is not the only English newspaper in Japan but in Mishima it is the only one available. Newstand price is 180 yen per issue. You may, however, not be able to find even Japan Times with the exception of larger cities such as Shizuoka and Hamamatsu. The good things about Japan Times is there are lots of local information about Japan.
