"Sidcup World of Golf" Golf. Tip by Maria81

Golf., London: 3 reviews and 6 photos

When I was thinking of taking up golf, the main question was: 'Will I find time to actually practice it, given our (then mine) travel schedule?'

Luckily, places like the World of Golf (of which there are several in UK, including the Sidcup one) make practice possible as they are open up to 10pm on weekdays and have both the floodlit driving range and short game practice area. You don't need to be a member to use he driving range, as you can just buy ball credits on 'pay as you go' basis. If you are a member, 62 balls will set you back a grand sum of.... 4.75GBP, which is not a huge amount in London. You do need to be a member to use the short game practice area.

There is also a pro shop, golf lessons (including the ones that allow them to video your swing), a grill/bar and a US-style miniature golf facility.

All of this, however, makes the Sidcup World of Golf extremely popular and parking (free on site) can be difficult to find at the end of the day - you may want to consider this when deciding on the time you want to come in.
