"The Beatty House 1899" Architecture/Museums Tip by Yaqui

Architecture/Museums, Alpine: 9 reviews and 26 photos

The Adam and Caroline Beaty House was built in 1899. Adam Beaty built the farmhouse with his own hands based on traditional British folk house forms. The Beaty House was called "Chiquita" and was a tenant house during the remodeling of the Wheeler mansion. The house was relocated to its present location from the Katherine Balentine Jenney property near Balentine Drive, one mile south of its present location

The museum houses are open the last Saturday and Sunday of each month between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m
