Located only 30kms from Bucovice, is another lovely Chateau that is well worth going to.

Milotice Chateau is known as a pearl of the Southeast Moravia and is a National Cultural Monument.

This Chateau was much nicer on the outside than the previous Bucovice Chateau. It is another Renaissance Chateau. This one dates back to the 16th century, and is another Chateau that has been changed, this time in the 18th century, when the then owner "K. Sereny" rebuilt in Baroque style. The Chateau was his summer residence. Walking out the back is a very nice French Baroque garden, and to the side were a Riding Hall and Stables, and there was an Orangerie where a wedding was being held. It is a very nice Chateau.

Once again, if you wish to see the inside, you have to do a tour which includes a permanent exhibition of Moravian baroque sculptures in the baroque orangeries, and there are frescoes to be seen.
