"Pine Ave Pier" Top 5 Page for this destination Pine Avenue Pier Tip by Yaqui

Pine Avenue Pier, Long Beach: 1 reviews and 5 photos

It is amazing how what was old was torn down and now those things have been missed and rebuilt. Long Beach has changed dramactically for me from the 1970's to now. I just cannot imagine how much it has change for someone who lived here during the 1920's when part of Pine Ave was actually a very long pier. Over the years, Long Beach has expanded it's shoreline so many of the old landmarks were torn down due to damage from storms, such as the pier or torn down to make room for change. Now, the Pine Ave Pier made a come back in the 1990's and now it boast a row of restaurants and loads of activities. It is nice to see they brought back something that was old and is new to a different generation to enjoy.
