Quattro Fiumi: "Great location, so-so food" Quattro Fiumi Tip by zadunajska8

Quattro Fiumi, Rome: 1 reviews and 0 photos

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch when we first discovered and were enchanted by Piazza Navona. Having a meal outdoors in this square is something everyone should do once, however, be prepared to pay a premium price for it and be prepared that it may not be the best food you will have in Italy by some way.
We had a pizza, a coffee and diet coke each. The coffee was great (as coffee almost always will be in Italy) and the pizza was ok but not great. Just ok. The bill came to 40 euros for the two of us without tip which was certainly the most we spent on lunch any day we were in Rome.
Like most of the places on this square (and throughout Rome's centro storico) the waiters are quite aggressive in trying to get tourist in off the street.
