Carver's Orchard & Apple House Restaurant: "Apples and More just Minutes from the Park" Cosby Restaurant Tip by jmpncsu

Cosby Restaurants: 1 reviews and 0 photos

After a long day of hiking, we were hungry for more than camp food, but didn't want to drive far. Someone suggested the Apple House, but based on the name, we initially tried for something else. Coming from Big Creek Campground towards the Cosby, TN area, there are not a lot of options, so we ended up just going to the Apple House - and we were pleasantly surprised! Besides a market for apples and other fruits, there is a nice country restaurant with home-cooked meals (more than just apples). And with each meal, they give a sample of their apple cider, apple fritters, and apple butter, all of which were quite good. I'm glad we ended going here. If you're near Cosby or Big Creek in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, this restaurant is only a 15-minute or so drive.
