This is a small museum down by the river. Unfortunately I only saw the exhibitions on the ground floor as the museum closed for lunch. My intension was to come back later in the afternoon, but then I was busy doing other things. When I visited the museum was the only visitor.
I like these kind of museums. In the museum you can see exhibitions of handicraft from Ecuador and the rest of Latin America. There are music instruments, ceramics, textiles, traditional folkloric costumes used at festivals and many more artefacts.
The museum is open between 9 - 13 and 14.30 - 18 on Monday - Friday, and between 10 - 14 on Saturdays.
Admission is free (July 2011).
