"The turtle's nesting area" Faro Celarain Eco Park Tip by joiwatani

Faro Celarain Eco Park, Isla Cozumel: 10 reviews and 36 photos

As an environmentalist, I had joy in my heart to see how the government and the people of Isla Cozumel, Mexico, protect wildlife including the sea turtles. During the nesting season of the "Tortugas" (turtles), you will find these turtles burry their eggs on the white sand on the beaches of Cozumel.

There are designated areas for swimming and suntanning and there are also areas that are protected for the turtles to lay their eggs!

Address: Isla Cozumel, Mexico
Directions: The nesting area for the turtles is before the resort in Faro Ceralin Ecopark. These are well-marked.
