The door is open, and inside the Church I go. This is St. John the Baptist Church, that was originally the 12th-century Johanite Maltese hospital. Founded by Bishop Bruno, the three-nave Gothic Church was rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style following a fire in the middle of the 19th century. .
It was built between 1737 and 1768. In 1768, 12 bronze crucifixes were placed around the perimeter of the church.
Inside, there were many ceiling Frescoe's that were beautifully done. Beaut Altar's and interior decoration, it was worth seeing.
