Bilao at Palayok: "Authentic Native Food" Top 5 Page for this destination Puerto Princesa Restaurant Tip by schurman23

Puerto Princesa Restaurants: 110 reviews and 300 photos

We enjoyed a sumptuous feast of native food served literally in bilao (tray made of dried leaves) and palayok (earthen pot used for cooking). One bilao full of seafood would have served 8-10 people but the five of us was able to finish them together with a palayok full of sinigang and mixed vegetables. I can feel my stomach grumble just by the thought of it.

Favorite Dish: Everything was delicious. Tastes just what an authentic native filipino dish would be at its best.
